1:30 pm HAROLD BOOTHE
Harold Boothe is often described as the unofficial troubadour of the Beach Bar Bums, a title well earned through his relaxed coastal sound and his song “Beach Bar Bums,” which has become something of an anthem. His music, found at lakelizardmusic.com, blends storytelling and melody into a style made for warm breezes, cold drinks, and time by the water.
Boothe grew up in Opp, Alabama, a small town near the Florida line, where music was part of daily life. Surrounded by a family of musicians, he began writing poems and songs at age 10. After college, he lived in Mobile and discovered Alabama’s coastal beach-bar culture, from Dauphin Island to Perdido Key, drawing inspiration from places like the Pink Pony Pub and Flora-Bama.
Later, life and work took him to Nashville, where he continued writing and performing whenever possible. Over time, travel expanded his horizons—especially frequent trips to the Caribbean and Key West, where he connected with “trop-rock” musicians and beach-bar culture.
Today, Boothe calls himself a full-time beach bar bum and songwriter, blending influences from country, rock, jazz, and blues into music meant to tell stories and evoke feeling.
5:00 pm STICKY TIM
Sticky Tim is a well-known local performer on Florida’s Forgotten Coast, recognized for blending storytelling, guitar work, and laid-back coastal energy into every show. A staple in the Apalachicola music scene for years, he has built a reputation as both an entertainer and a musical storyteller, turning solo acoustic performances into engaging, memorable experiences.
His shows move easily from Americana and country to rock classics, often sprinkled with unexpected deep cuts and playful singalong moments. Audiences come for the music but stay for the humor, personality, and spontaneous storytelling that give each performance a unique feel.
Often described as a “tale teller and guitar slinger,” Sticky Tim brings a relaxed, beach-town vibe that reflects the spirit of the Forgotten Coast—sunny, free-spirited, and unpretentious. His music captures themes of coastal living, freedom, and good times, making him a favorite among both locals and visitors.
With a loyal following and a reputation for high-energy, crowd-pleasing shows, Sticky Tim continues to be a familiar and beloved presence across the region’s live music venues.
7:00 pm TODD SPARKS
Todd’s journey is best described as a “what a ride—and still rolling” kind of story, shaped by family, music, and a lifelong love of performing. Raised in Anniston, Alabama, he grew up in a home where humor and music were part of everyday life. His father had a natural gift for comedy, his grandmother played piano beautifully, and family gatherings often turned into informal jam sessions. That mix of laughter and music became the foundation for his career as a storyteller and performer.
In 1985, he moved to Panama City, Florida, where a chance opportunity at Pineapple Willy’s launched his entertainment career. What began as a music gig evolved into a comedy-music act known as The Party Doctor.
When his son Grant was born, he stepped back from extensive touring to focus on family, performing locally instead. He returned full force in 2010, collaborating with Brent Radar and releasing The Gulf of Mexico, a project inspired by coastal life and his song “Southwest Take Me There.”
Since then, his work has reached national and international audiences through radio, film, airline playlists, and collaborations with notable artists. Today, he continues writing and performing, driven by the same energy that started it all—just with more stories to tell.
